This is timely post Jeff. We are talking about this exact subject as a house, in our bible study yesterday, and the pastor preached on it on Saturday night. God’s sounding the alarm on this one.

It’s tough, because Jesus has put authority on the words of believers. What we say actually has effects in the spirit, whether positive or negative. Watching what you say is one of the most frequent, and stern, warnings in the Bible.

I’m sorry you are feeling discouraged. We haven’t been able to figure out how we pay for anything in our lives, in years. It never makes sense on paper, and the Lord keeps putting more and more things in our path to give to. It’s almost like the money left over after giving turns into rubber. Regular money is just paper, but money that has been widdled down from giving gets stretchier and stretchier. God cares about your long term plans. He cares about your goals and dreams. He cares about your bills getting paid. He even cares that you get to buy that candy bar you were eyeing in the grocery line. God cares, and He will be faithful to you. Be brave, your Dad will catch you.

I had no idea that you had a blog. That, or I chose to forget. . . Not really sure.

Any who, you could dress like a bum and go panhandeling at the plaza. Make a month’s salery in 8 days.

Either that or sit in front of your computer and write a new post on your blog every fifteen seconds.

Or maybe something involving a screaming competition?

Refe, this is not a place for mundane nonsensical suggestions.

Jeff, this is what you should do. Get a lawn chair, sit out on the patio, take a look at the grass. Wait five seconds. Look at the grass again. Is it longer? Woohoo! Exciting, no?
